Winchester Arbor Day Celebration a Great Success

Approximately 75 people attended the 2012 Arbor Day celebration in Jim Barnett Park on April 20th at which the City celebrated its 30th year as a Tree City USA, honored Eagle Scout Eric Arkfeld for his contributions, and announced the 2012 Arbor Day essay contest winners.

Frederick Douglass Elementary:

Following the ceremony, three trees were planted at Rotary Field in Jim Barnett Park.
