West Va Men Arrested for Burglaries in Western Loudoun
Two West Virginia men were arrested Wednesday, May 19, 2010 for their involvement in three residential burglaries in Western Loudoun County and remain suspects in several other cases.
Samuel L. Green, 29, of Harper’s Ferry, WV, and Robert L Irving, 26, also of Harper’s Ferry, WV are charged with three counts of burglary. Green has three additional charges for grand larceny. The two men were connected to the March 29, 2010 burglaries on Cider Mill Road and Harper’s Ferry Road and the May 3, 2010 burglary on Sagle Road.
Since late April 2010 the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has investigated seven residential burglaries in Western Loudoun County. In the series of crimes the subjects were entering homes by either forcing open the front door or simply opening an unlocked door. Items targeted included laptops, large screen televisions, tools and more recently jewelry. In most of the cases the subjects entered the home during daylight hours while the residents were not at home.

The burglaries remain under investigation and additional charges are possible. Both Green and Irving remain held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
