Ward North American to Open Location in Dulles Va

Picture 1Ward North American, one of the nation’s premier providers of moving and storage services, announced today that it will expand its business into the Washington, DC region by opening up its seventh national location in Dulles, Va. The moving company signed a 10.5-year, 64,539-square-foot lease at 23000 Ladbrook Drive in Dulles, VA, according to its real estate advisor, Studley. The $8 million investment is expected to bring an estimated 50 jobs into Loudoun County.“Ward North American is a welcome addition to Loudoun County’s growing business community,” said Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott K. York. “This announcement highlights the benefit of Loudoun’s unique offering of varied business corridors which provide a broad range of real estate product types unlike any other jurisdiction in the region. We proudly welcome Ward North American, and look forward to participating in their continued success and growth as members of the Loudoun County business community.”The San Antonio-based moving company selected the new location based on its access to major transportation routes and proximity to its growing corporate client base and traditional government traffic. The Department of Economic Development assisted with this fast-moving project by facilitating incentives with the Commonwealth of Virginia, assisting with process, and providing community information for relocating executives.”This is a location that perfectly matched our selection criteria. The new facility in Dulles allows Ward to continue to provide seamless and cost-effective relocations for many corporations having a physical presence in the D.C. area and, of course, the U.S. government as well,” said Ward North American President Kevin Ankenbauer.
