Virginia Republicans Oust Their Party Leader
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Just 10 months into a troubled tenure that included major losses in the November elections, the chairman of the Republican Party in Virginia was ousted on Saturday. The state party’s central committee voted 57 to 18 to remove the chairman, Jeffrey M. Frederick, after elected officials and top leaders in the Virginia party demanded his departure.
