Parent company hopes to sell Leesburg Today

Saddled with huge debt, Leesburg Today’s parent company April 28 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. By the end of the month, the weekly newspaper could have a new owner. The company becomes the nation’s seventh newspaper publishing company to file for federal protection since December 2008.
