‘Unforgotten.’ An exhibit of paintings by Sherry Zvares Sanabria

‘Unforgotten.’ An exhibit of paintings by Sherry Zvares Sanabria titled “Unforgotten: Slave Quarters and other African-American Sites” is on exhibit on the Virginia campus of the George Washington University through March 23.

These paintings depict antebellum and later African-American sites in Virginia; Washington, D.C.; Montgomery County, Md.; North Carolina; Georgia; and Florida.

There is also an exhibit of reproductions of U.S. postal stamps of famous African-American leaders on the first floor of Building 2.
