The system creates a dry space beneath the deck that is suitable for the installation of deck lighting, ceiling fans and finished ceilings and represents a significant new potential growth driver for the nation’s largest manufacturer of wood-alternative decking, railing and fencingproducts.Unlike competitive products – which make use of “under joist” technology – Trex RainEscape shields the joists, protecting them from water damage and deterioration that may occur over time, while also creating additional usable outdoor living space below the deck. In addition to being competitively priced, the system will be easy and efficient to install – making it an ideal solution for both contractors and do-it-yourselfers.
