Suspect Arrested for Armed Robbery on Lockheed Boulevard

A man was arrested for robbing an employee of a 7-Eleven store on Tuesday, November 10. Around 2:25 a.m., the suspect entered the store, located at 3100 Lockheed Boulevard, allegedly produced a handgun and demanded money from a 41-year-old woman working behind the counter. The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the store. The victim was not injured.

As police were responding, one officer noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area and initiated a traffic stop. An investigation determined the suspect was in the car. He was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Willie Robertson, 22, of 8807 Old Colony Way #3B in Alexandria, was charged with robbery.
