Serious Accident Snarls Route 29 Near Warrenton
A multi-vehicle accident near the entrance to Lord Fairfax Community College and the intersection with Route 15/29 business closed both southbound lanes and one northbound lane at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Southbound traffic is being detoured onto Route 643 (Meetze Road) to Route 28 and back to Route 29 near Remington. Traffic traveling south on Route 29 to Route 17 at Opal will be able to turn onto Route 17 at the Route 28 intersection in Bealeton.
