Senseny school to close

The oldest elementary school in Frederick County has become the latest casualty of the school system’s financial meltdown. Senseny Road Elementary School will close its doors at the end of the school year — a move the School Board unanimously approved Tuesday in its effort to cope with a $12.2 million shortfall for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
