Second Body Discovered at Balls Bluff is Apparent Suicide
On August 25, 2010 at approximately 1:00 AM, Leesburg Police Officers discovered a body in Balls Bluff Park in Leesburg. The body has been identified as that of a Leesburg man. At this time, all indications are that the individual took his own life. Detectives from the Leesburg Police Department are conducting a thorough investigation in conjunction with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine exact cause of death.
There is no indication of a connection to the homicide that is currently under investigation by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident remains under investigation by the Leesburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section.
