Second Accident Victim Succumbs to Injuries

On August 14, 2012, Mary C. Tulipane, 60, of Oakton, VA, a front seat passenger in a 2006 Honda Pilot, succumbed to injuries she sustained in a July 21st crash.

In the crash, the 2006 Honda Pilot was southbound on Route 659, south of Luck Lane, when an oncoming 2008 Lexus Sedan crossed the double yellow line striking the Honda. The driver of the Lexus, a 35-year-old Chantilly man was charged with reckless driving. The driver of the Lexus and a 3-year-old boy received minor injuries. The driver and two other occupants of the Honda were all taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.

Earlier this month, a passenger in the Lexus, Jhansi L. Bellapu, 62, of Ashburn, VA, succumbed to injuries she sustained in the crash.
