Robbery Snatch on Naylor Road

On June 13, 2012, at approximately 300:00 pm a robbery occurred in the 2700 block of Naylor Road, Southeast.  The complainant was  approached from the rear by two individuals, knocked to the ground and punched several times. The suspect’s after obtaining possession of the complainant’s purse fled in the direction of the Good Hope Shopping Center. The suspects were described as being B/M 15-17 years of age approximately 140-150 lbs wearing blue jeans a white and black and white checkered shirt.
A description of the suspects was broadcast to units in the field. Patrol units converged on the scene and located an individual that matched the description provided by the Communication Division. The complainant during a show-up was unable to positively identify the individual who was released from the scene.
The complainant sustained minor injuries to her face during the robbery and was treated on the scene by Fire Emergency Medical Service (FEMS) personnel.
