Robbers hit downtown Leesburg bank
Leesburg Police are searching for two men in connection with a bank robbery in the heart of town. Police were called to the BB&T at 7 W. Market St. at about 12:15 p.m. May 29.
The assailants are described as two men, one about 5 feet tall who was wearing a black hat, a mask and a red shirt, and the other about 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 190 pounds who was wearing a khaki shirt and a black hat with “NY” on it.
