Power Line Work Continues Along Route 7

construction-heavy-equipmenDominion Virginia Power is moving ahead with construction of its 230kV overhead transmission line from the Pleasant View substation east of Leesburg to a new substation to be constructed just east of the Purcellville town limits.

The most visible signs of the vegetation and ground clearing required for the overhead route, which has been opposed by residents along the path of the transmission line, can be seen in the Clarke’s Gap and Meadowlark Drive areas west of Leesburg.
