Police Search for Missing Heritage Student
The Leesburg Police Department is working in a joint investigation with the Fairfax County Police Department to locate Joan Ly. On Monday June 7th 2010, Ly failed to report to class at Heritage High School in Leesburg.
Ly reportedly, was last known to be with Diem Vo Kieu, a friend from Fairfax County. Although this information cannot be verified, several sources have stated that the girls traveled to New York via a bus and left their cell phones behind.
Joan Lee Ly is described as an Asian female, 5’11” 180 lbs. She is 17 years of age and goes by the nickname of “Frost”. Diem Kieu Vo is an Asian female, 17 years of age. Vo goes by the nickname of “Melissa”.
