Police Make Illegal Gambling Operations Arrests
On Thursday, February 2, Fairfax County Police detectives and officers with the assistance of the City of Falls Church Police served seven search warrants in conjunction with an investigation into illegal gambling operations. Three businesses: Café Nho, Nha Trang Restaurant and Eden Skin Care and Cosmetics, all at the Eden Center in the City of Falls Church, were searched. Four residences in Fairfax County were also searched:
- 6217 Sandstone Way, Clifton
- 2778 January Court, Falls Church
- 3206 Holly Hill Drive, Falls Church
- 6213 Dana Avenue, Springfield
Two individuals were arrested in connection to the investigation. Don T. Ong, 42, of 6213 Dana Avenue and Vinh C. Pham, 58, of 2306 Holly Hill Drive, Falls Church. Both were charged with conducting an illegal gambling operation and money laundering.
