Off-Duty Fairfax County Police Officer Arrested for DWI

An off-duty, Fairfax County police officer was involved in a single vehicle crash on Zion Drive on Monday, October 24 shortly after 3 a.m. The officer was the sole occupant of his personal vehicle when it struck a utility pole near the intersection of Grovewood Way. The officer was not injured.

PFC Sean McGlone, 41, was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

He has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
