Man Charged After Accidentally Shooting Himself In Leesburg

A man is facing charges of recklessly handling a firearm after he accidentally shot himself while at the Liberty gas station in Leesburg last night.

Around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Leesburg police officers were called to the Leesburg gas station, located on Harrison Street across from the County Government Center, for a shooting.
