Lovettsville Employee of Wells Fargo Accused of Embezzling Millions
A Lovettsville woman has been charged with embezzling almost $8 million from a single customer’s account. Forty-two year old Linda Speaks Tribby was a Wells Fargo employee in Loudoun County. The 25 year employee of Wachovia and then Wells Fargo is accused of transferring funds from a customers account to her own accounts that totaled $7,993,000.
According to federal authorities, Tribby was arrested last week at Dulles International Airport and ordered held without bond. A hearing to reconsider her bond status is set for Monday in U.S. District Court in Alexandria.
