Sheriff Seeks Driver who Fled Stolen Vehicle After Pursuit

Loudoun County, VA: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance to locate the whereabouts of Joseph S. Schrotz of Aldie, Virginia. Schrotz is wanted in connection with the pursuit of a stolen car that occurred December 11th.
Schrotz, 19, allegedly led authorities on a pursuit in the area of Braddock Road and Wendell Street in Chantilly, Virginia shortly before 1 a.m. During the pursuit the driver traveled to the area of Hunt Chase Court and Pleasant Valley Road where he and a passenger bailed from the car and attempted to flee on foot. The passenger, identified as Chuavet U. Nnawuba, 18, of South Riding, VA was apprehended and taken into custody. Nnawuba was charged with obstruction of justice and grand larceny. The driver was not located.
Schrotz was later identified as the driver and is wanted for grand larceny, disregarding a signal to stop, reckless driving and driving on a revoked license.
