Loudoun Officials Seek to Dispell Rumors About Manchester Terrace Death

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office received numerous inquiries from the public and the media regarding a 911 call for a medical emergency in the Potomac Falls community. The incident resulted in rumors of an attack. Officials say these rumors are unsubstantiated. Police released the follow incident report surrounding the events.

On September 26, 2010 around 11:44 p.m. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 46700 block of Manchester Terrace in Potomac Falls, VA for a report of an unknown medical emergency.At the scene deputies learned that an adult male had fallen while outside of his home and sustained serious injuries as a result of the fall. The victim told deputies at the scene he believed he had seen a prowler earlier and had injured himself while searching for the subject.No suspicious persons were located in the area and there were no signs or reports of criminal activity.The victim was taken to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
