  • 12/21/09-12/22/09 2230 hrs-0320 hrs.    Bentwood Rd./Southall Ct. 46100 block Ingomar Ter. 20630 Reserve Falls Ter. Sterling
    Destruction of Property/Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered three vehicles by damaging a side window. Inside the vehicles airbags were removed. All three vehicles were Hondas.
  • 12/14/09-12/22/09 0000 hrs-2359 hrs.    40800 block Woodside Pl. Leesburg
    Burglary/Larceny: Unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed a firearm.
  • 12/22/09 0000 hrs.    21900 block Muirfield Cir. Sterling
    Tampering with a Vehicle: Unknown subject(s) entered three vehicles and removed the vehicles airbags. Also removed was a purse and clothing. All three vehicles had a passenger side window damaged to gain entry. The vehicles in this incident were an Acura and two Hondas.
  • 12/25/09 0123 hrs.    W. Poplar Rd./S. Sterling Blvd. Sterling
    DUI/Hit and Run: A driver struck several vehicles pinning a pedestrian. The victim was taken to a hospital by a family member. Moises I. Martinez, 32, of Herndon, VA, was charged with DUI, Felony Hit and Run, and driving on a suspended. The victim, a 37-year-old woman from Sterling, VA, was transferred from Loudoun to INOVA Fairfax Hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
  • 12/24/09-12/25/09 2100 hrs-0100 hrs.    43800 block Lees Mill Sq. Leesburg
    Suspicious Event: Unknown subject(s) spray painted seven vehicles with fake snow.  The incident did not cause any damage to the vehicles.
  • 12/27/09 0335 hrs.    100 block  Applegate Dr. Sterling
    Malicious Wounding: Deputies were called to the INOVA Loudoun Hospital at Lansdowne for a victim who entered the emergency room with a stab wound. The victim stated he was standing outside of the listed location with two friends. They were approached by three unknown males who made comments about a female. The victim confronted one of the subjects.  The subject then cut the victim with a sharp instrument, possibly a box cutter. The same subject then attempted to search the pockets of the victim. The incident is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
  • 12/26/09 1800 hrs-1900 hrs.    41380 block Springfield Ln. Leesburg    Missile at a Dwelling: A resident found a hole in the wall of their residence on December 27, 2009. A bullet was found inside the home. The resident remembered hearing possible gunfire the previous day. No one was injured during the incident.
  • 12/27/09 1932 hrs.    Route 7/Route 601 Bluemont
    Recovered Stolen Vehicle: A reported stolen vehicle was received in the area of the listed location. The vehicle was reported stolen from Frederick County, MD.
  • 12/27/09 1500 hrs-2242 hrs.    Conoy Ct. Sterling
    Burglary: Unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed a laptop, two video game systems, a television, and a jewelry box.
