Juveniles Attempt to Rob Bloom at Great Falls Plaza in Sterling

Three juveniles are facing charges in connection with an apparent attempted burglary of a grocery store.

Shortly after 3 a.m. on June 12, 2010 Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 20700 block of Great Falls Plaza in Sterling, VA for a commercial alarm. On scene Sheriff’s Deputies located three juveniles, ages 14, 13, and 12, on the roof of the Bloom grocery store.

The 14-year-old male, who is from Sterling, VA, was served with three detention orders for attempted burglary, destruction of property and trespassing. He is being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.

Petitions are pending for the 13-year-old, who is from Potomac Falls, VA, and a 12-year-old from Sterling, VA. The two were turned over to the custody of their parents.
