Roads Closed Due to High Water
Emergency officials warn drivers to never try to cross a flooded road under any circumstances.
The Highway Operations Office (301-600-1564) reports the following roads closed due to flooded conditions (check back for updates).
Wednesday, September 30 2010 (2:00 pm):
Frederick Area:
- Wilhide Road (Between Bottomley Rd. & Angleberger Rd)
Union Bridge Area:
- Sam’s Creek Road (Between Md. Rt. 31 & Oak Orchard Rd)
- Thurston Road (Between Dr. Perry Rd. & Peters Rd) – High Water Sign posted, not fully closed.
Hyattstown Area:
- Prices Distillery Road (Between Md. Rt. 31 & Haines Rd.)
