Fairfax County Mosquitos Positive for West Nile

Fairfax County officials say mosquitoes throughout the county have tested positive for the West Nile virus. County environmental health supervisor Jorge Arias said Monday that the number of mosquitoes carrying the virus is also up. Heavy rains have given mosquitoes an early boost this spring, with more puddles and flood waters serving as breeding grounds.
