Driver Charged in DUI Hit and Run on Route 7

On September 2nd at approximately 2:00AM Loudoun County Deputy was patrolling near Route 7 and Ashburn Blvd, when two vehicles were observed traveling eastbound on Route 7. One of the vehicles, a passenger car, was attempting to pass a truck. The vehicle struck the passenger side of the truck and continued to drive down ROute 7. Deputies initiated a traffic stop an the vehicle in the area of Lexington Drive. The driver of the passenger vehicle, Sean M. Nebel, 24 of Leesburg was charged with felony hit and run, DUI and driving on a suspended license. There were no serious injuries.
