Drama with Frederick Native Top Chef Contestants

Frederick County native Michael Voltaggio made it through  the seventh episode of “Top Chef: Las Vegas” even though he ended the round in the “least favorite” group. Michael and his brother Bryan are both competing in this seasons “Top Chef”. Bryan Voltaggio hails from Urbana, Md. and is chef and partner of Volt Restaurant in downtown Frederick. His younger brother, Michael, is chef de cuisine at The Dining Room, Langham Huntington Hotel in the Los Angeles area. Both brothers are talented competitors this season and have performed well.

Michael’s trouble in the competition centered around a electrical problem that created cooking difficulties with his dish.
