Dog Park Donation Allows for Significant Improvements

The Winchester Parks Foundation recently received a very generous donation for Dog Park improvements from the Elizabeth C. Clark Foundation. The two items that have been requested the most by members are:

1) water accessibility, and 2) a small dog area.

Thanks to this generous donation, these two requests can now be fulfilled. Work is expected to begin within the next few weeks, weather permitting. Otherwise the project will be completed in the spring as the ground warms. It is expected that the planned improvements will take only one to two days to complete. If there are any funds remaining, Winchester Parks & Recreation is interested in purchasing several permanent play structures.
