Altercation outside court leads to charges

A contentious couple with a court date in Henrico County this week apparently took their arguments outside the building, resulting in multiple charges against each of them. Police call deaths in Leesburg suspicious

Leesburg Police are investigating two deaths in the northeast part of town. Police are calling the deaths suspicious. Early April 29, officers responded to a 911 call from a home at Smartts Lane NE to find a 47-year-old man, Inam A. Uddin, dead in an upstairs bedroom. Read full story via Loudoun Times

Leesburg Today owner files for bankruptcy

American Community Newspapers Inc., which owns Loudoun Magazine, Leesburg Today and Middleburg Life among other publications, has filed for bankruptcy protection. “A difficult economic environment and weak advertising market have created a number of challenges for our industry and our company,” CEO Gene Carr said in a press release.
