10/02/09 1440 hrs. 19000 block Corepsis Ter. Leesburg
Suspicious Event: Unknown subjects were observed looking into a window of a residence. The subjects were described as a White male and Black male, 18 to 20-years-of-age. The Black male was further described as having a thin build, 5’11”-6’1”, and was wearing a dark colored hat with the letters “DC” on it. The White male was described as being 5’7” to 5’9” tall. The subjects left the scene when the complainant told them to leave.
10/02/09 1545 hrs. 37930 block Charles Town Pike Purcellville
Suspicious Event: Unknown subjects came to a residence and offered to pave the complainant’s driveway for a great deal as they had extra materials. The complainant never gave any money to the individuals or had any work done on the home. The complainant believed this may be a paving scam.
10/02/09 1100 hrs. 1725 hrs. 18500 block Sierra Springs Sq. Leesburg
Burglary: Unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed medication, a watch and a watch.
10/02/09 1300 hrs.-1330 hrs. 43980 bloc Needmore Ct. Ashburn
Larceny/Unlawful Entry: A subject entered a residence and removed a laptop.
10/03/09 0230 hrs. 43050 block Waters Overlook Ct. Leesburg
Unlawful Entry/Larceny/Suspicious Event: A 16-year-old reported that she was sleeping in the residence when four subjects entered her room. One of the subjects was an acquaintance of the teenager. The family reported that a laptop and a firearm went missing from the home in September but it was not reported.
10/02/09-10/03/09 2300 hrs.-0730 hrs. 130 block N. Garfield Rd. Sterling
Destruction of Property: Unknown subject(s) damaged the passenger side windows of three vehicles and removed the faceplate of two car stereos and one car stereo.
10/02/09 1535 hrs. 43900 block Tavern Dr, Ashburn
Suspicious Event: A resident reported that an unknown subject may have followed two school-aged children. The two children exited a school bus and observed an unknown White male walking slowly towards them. The two children went into the home and a few minutes later an unknown subject rang the doorbell to the home. The children did not answer and contacted their father. The subject was not located in the area.
10/04/09 0315 hrs. 42490 block Longacre Dr. Chantilly
Destruction of Property: Unknown subject(s) damaged several planters and two brass lamps in the area.
10/04/09 0230 hrs.-0800 hrs. 44000 block Ashburn Shopping Plaza Ashburn
Attempted Burglary: Unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry into the UPS store. A rear door was damaged but no entry was gained.
10/03/09 2250 hrs. 46100 block Ingomar Ter. Sterling
Robbery: The victim was walking in the area when he saw two Black males acting suspicious in the area. The victim approached the subjects when one of them demanded money. A cell phone was removed from the victim. Both suspects were described as being between 5’9” tall and 6’1” tall.

Destruction of Property: Unknown subject(s) spray painted possible gang-related graffiti on a fence.
10/02/09-10/04/09 2000 hrs.-1800 hrs. Cromwell Road and Dulaney Court Sterling
Auto-Theft: Unknown subject(s) removed a beige/gold 1998 Buick Park Avenue. The vehicle was parked at the intersection of Cromwell Road and Dulaney Court.
