Controversial Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad
This ad was paid for by Focus on the Family and caused a firestorm of controversy. It would seem that the Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad focuses on family, not abortion. It was, however, condemned by pro-choice organizations around the globe. News of an ad about abortion rights generated a frenzied opposition.
In the end the ads focus on family, and not abortion has made the pro-choice opposition look like the very zealots they so often condemn the other side of the argument of being.
Here’s the full text of the ad:
Pam Tebow: “I call him my miracle baby. He almost didn’t make it into this world. I can remember so many times when I almost lost him. It was so hard. Well, he’s all grown up now, and I still worry about his health. You know, with all our family’s been through, we have to be tough–Timmy! I’m trying to tell our story here.”
Tim Tebow: “Sorry about that, Mom. Do you still worry about me, Mom?”
Pam Tebow: “Well, yeah, you’re not nearly as tough as I am.”
A loud call for the end of abortion? I think not.
