Alright lets be real… There are risks to everything you do. Lets take sunbathing for example.. Yes, to much of it can be bad for you. Although, the sun is also good in the fact that it helps the body.. Sunshine is a significant source of vitamin D because the UV rays from sunlight trigger vitamin D synthesis in the skin. So, in essence.. sun is naturally good for you. My question is, when will the FDA put a regulation on how much sun we are allowed to get? Where does the regulations stop?
On another note… I really enjoy the process of ear coning or ear candling. It is very relaxing and soothing. I really just wish people could understand the true facts about it. Most of the info people get is all common miss conception and untrue facts. I have done a fair amount of research and found a couple of great places that provide excellent information.

I go here frequently! I always mix it up and I’ve just about tried everything on the menu! I’ve found it great for date night, and for my family. It’s delicious, and the service is great. They really know how to make you feel welcome while you enjoy a good, hardy Italian meal! (I recommend Linguini Florence, Chicken Piccata, or their Vegitarian Lasagna. And for dessert, the spumoni)

I am amazed that this blog doesn’t contain the kind of knee-jerk criticism/condemnation that other blogs contain for a man, Sean Lanigan, that I hold in very high esteem. I’ve known Sean for about 15 years and throughout that time he has shown himself to be mature, responsible and empathetic to his students and young athletes. He has a nice family including a great and supportive wife, a son and two daughters close to the age of the child who made this baseless accusation against him. As a result of the report from this child, Sean was arrested, had his story and face posted on the internet for the world to see, stayed in jail for five days while arranging for his $50,000 bond, and was suspended from his teacher job as well as his soccer coaching positions. Innocent until proven guilty is a great concept but it doesn’t seem to apply here. I have complete faith that Sean will be exonerated at the end of this bitter process in which no one “wins”.

I remember this big-a** party Greg had at this house he had just moved into. We sat on his stairs and shot the bull for a while. Bunch of us went in one car and had a blast. The time at CedarCrest was a trip (hey John, the time Eric P made “snow angles” in the gravel). I still have some of the stickers Greg made from way back when too. Til this day, there hasn’t been a time when I’ve heard “Dixie Chicken” that I did not think of Greg Ashley.
RIP Greg, never forgot about you over the years, bro.

this is very very sad…i used to skate with Greg back in the day.
i hadnt seen him in at least 16 yrs and turns out he was living in the same town as i am.

they make it sound like the marijuana was the big deal here when a good guy lost his life, shame

Greg was my brother, I am his youngest sister. His entire immediate and extended family is grieving his passing. He did not talk about us or contact us very much, but we were always here for him and he knew that. We are having a funeral mass and a burial in the family cemetary here in Texas, where most of his family live. Yes, there was pot in his house, but he, like every other human being, was not perfect. He was a good person who was loved very much by his family and friends, and he will be missed. Thank you to the two people who already commented on this article. The family is compiling a memory book, and since Greg kept his friends separate from his family, we only have the family’s memories. If any of his friends would like to share a memory or photo, please e-mail it to me at . We would appreciate any kind word, funny story, or serious moment that you would like to share. I was burned in a horrible fire in 2007. Without having ever met me, this man organized, funded, and ran a walkathon to raise money for my care. I have met him twice now, to thank him. Had it not been for his kindness and care for a stranger I would not be living the wonderful life I am living today. I know as a young woman it is easy to feel threatened by an older man. That is natural. But this is a good man who is a good teacher and would never intentionally harm anyone.

I am not at all familiar with the individual teacher who was allegedly responsible, but I have listened to many parents and teachers close to the situation who stand behind him. My only hope is that we have all the facts before we condemn someone in this way. It just seems to easy anymore to ruin someone.
