Clarke Declares Local Emergency
A local emergency was declared at noon on February 9, 2010 as a result of the National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning Issued for Clarke County.
A shelter for those who cannot access their homes due to blocked roads or for those who have lost power and do not have access to alternate power or heat sources will be opened later today at the Johnson Williams Middle School.
