Clarke County Elementary School Principal Retires

We are truly sorry to see Ms. Jones leave. She has been a tremendous force in the school system and a staunch advocate for all the children of Clarke County. We are thankful for her time and wish her the best in the future. She will be missed in a school system that is dire need of leaders.

After 34 years in the Clarke County School system, Brenda Jones is turning a new leaf.

Jones spent her entire teaching career in Clarke County. She started out as an instructional assistant at Berryville Primary School in 1970, and worker her way through the ranks.

The veteran educator says she leaves with no regrets and she will miss teaching. “I reflect on my experiences and they’ve been good.I’ve worked with talented and gifted educators and wonderful children and families. I have a lot of wonderful memories and I’m going to take them with me,” says Jones.
