Chesterfield Police Investigate Vandalism At Construction Site

Chesterfield County police are investigating a vandalism at a construction site at 5011 Ecoff Avenue in ChesterfieldCounty. Police said that between Friday afternoon and Monday morning unknown suspects trespassed on a work site of Apex Pipe Line of West Virginia and caused several thousand dollars of damage to equipment and vehicles belonging to several companies.

A number of vehicles had the windows and headlights broken, body damage done to the sides, doors sprung and even damage to one engine block. A tractor on site also had its windows and doors broken, and a steamroller had a pick axe driven through its radiator. Several tools from the companies were strewn about and it is unknown at this time if anything was stolen.
