Chantilly Man Wins $100,000 in Va Lottery
Mark Novitsky of Chantilly can’t explain how he won $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game.
“It’s just a stroke of luck,” he told Lottery officials as he claimed his prize. “You just get lucky. I just happened to play that day.”
He bought the winning ticket for the October 7 day drawing at Croson Store, 42382 John Mosby Highway in Chantilly. He selected the numbers on his ticket at random.
The winning numbers were 10-18-20-23-26. He discovered he’d won when he called the Virginia Lottery’s Winning Numbers Line at 804-662-LUCK.
“When they said the numbers, I couldn’t believe it!” he said.
