Ashburn Man Charged With Sexual Assault of 14-Year-Old

A man with ties to the Ashburn, VA area was charged today with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old female on January 27, 2010.

Kofi Owusu-Ansah Anning, 19, of no fixed address, is charged with two counts of forcible sodomy § 18.2-67.1. and a probation violation. The suspect allegedly met the victim at a fast food restaurant in the Junction Plaza Shopping Center around 7:45 p.m. A group, including the suspect and the victim, left the restaurant and walked together on a nearby path with the understanding they were going to share narcotics. While on the trail the suspect isolated the victim from the group and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities were notified of the incident later that same evening.

Anning is currently being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
