Arlington Boulevard Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended
An employee of the BB&T bank, at 8416 Arlington Boulevard, was robbed on Friday, February 12. A man walked into the bank around 3:02 p.m. and demanded money from a 22-year-old woman working as a teller. She handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled in a vehicle.
An investigation led officers to a home in the 8600 block of Hilltop Road. Members from the Tactical Team and the Crisis Negotiation Unit responded; after approximately three hours, tactical officers entered the home and took the suspect into custody without incident. Brooks W. Goode, 47, of 8619 Hilltop Road in Vienna, was charged with robbery.
