Three grocery stores in Loudoun County closed because of roof hazard

Loudoun County public safety officials are urging property owners to clear their roofs of snow if possible – especially if they have a flat roof.

At least three grocery stores in Loudoun County have been forced to close temporarily because of the amount of snow on their roofs. This particular snow fall contained significant amounts of liquid, which in turn, presents a potential danger for roof collapses. Residents should also keep in mind that the National Weather Service is calling for a significant snowfall later this week.
