Make House Address Visible For Emergency Personnel

7 February 2010 89 views No Comment

Loudoun County residents need to make sure their address is visible to emergency personnel in the wake of the record-setting snowstorm that dumped nearly three feet of snow in many sections of the county.

Public safety officials are telling residents whose addresses can no longer be seen – because, for example, their mailbox is covered by snow – to post their address on their front door so that it is visible for emergency vehicles. Residents should put their address on a piece of paper in clear and large print and tape it to their front door.
