Sheriff continues to investigate armed robbery of a Sterling health food store

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the armed robbery of a Sterling, Virginia health food store and is seeking information from witnesses who were in the area at the time of the incident.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 a Black male and a White female entered Healthway Natural Foods in the 46900 block of Cedar Lake Plaza. The female brandished a firearm and demanded cash. The male, described as having a medium build, had his face covered with a blue bandana. The female,who was described as being 5’8” and having very pale smooth skin, was wearing what appeared to be a bright red wig. Both suspects were wearing all dark clothing.

The suspects fled the store with a small amount of cash. They were driving a silver SUV, possibly a GMC Acadia, that was parked along Jennings Farm Lane. The vehicle traveled eastbound and turned onto Lakeland Drive before fleeing the scene. (See Possible Vehicle Type Attached)
