Middleburg pleads with county to fund school, library

Loudoun Times – If Middleburg Elementary School closes, the town could lose an important link to its future – the next generation of Middleburg residents, said a number of county residents. The county’s budget-cut plans, which include four tiers of spending reductions, could include closing Middleburg, Hamilton, Lincoln and Aldie Elementary Schools – which would save $2.2 million.
